Job Description

Overview
Team Locum have partnered with an independent Pharmacy in Wakefield who are looking for an ACT on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities

Providing ‘final accuracy checks’ on medication that has been ‘clinically checked’ by the Pharmacist
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in line with GPhC expectations
Labelling and dispensing of Prescription Only Medicines
Helping resolve surgery queries
Reporting dispensing errors and near misses
Supporting (and helping control) Over The Counter (OTC) sales
Delivering a range of Pharmacy Services

Qualifications Required

NVQ Level 3, or above, BTEC or equivalent
Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience
Able to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures
